rhiannonhero would ask me. Most of the questions are QAF related and the answers are behind the cut.
1. Under what circumstances would Brian have ever had sex with Michael?
They only way I can see Brian having sex with Michael would be if he wanted to push Michael away permanently. It would be either an act of self-destruction because Brian felt the need to get rid of anything good in his life or a more dramatic way than the birthday party to set Michael free. I can only see it happening when Brian was drunk or high and it would have the tone of showing Michael that after all his waiting Brian is not what he wants. It would be fueled by anger and desperation and would destroy both of them. I can also only see this happening if Justin is not in Brian's life either by them never meeting or if he had not survived the bashing. Actually Justin's death is my most likely scenario.
2. When did you see your first QaF episode?
I saw the first episode when Showtime began summer repeats of S1. This let me watch S1 in order and go right into S2 with no hiatus.
3. What was your first fandom and how did you get into online fandom?
QAF was my first fandom. I found the online fandom after watching 213 and having this fear they were going to kill Justin. I searched message boards for hints of what would happen. Then I stumbled upon fanfic which I resisted reading for a very short time. Once I started reading it wasn't long despite my best intentions that I started writing.
4. If you could change one thing about your current life what would it be?
My lack of ambition although that isn't the best word. There are many things I'd like to change about my life and I have the plans to change them, but they never get beyond theory. I remember hearing the theory of inertia for the first time and knowing it described me perfectly. I need to learn to turn myself into an object in motion without outside help.
5. In the end, in your mind, does Justin eventually come home from New York, or does Brian go there?
I am happy to read or write both versions, but I think it is more likely that Justin comes back to Pittsburgh. I think he is more able to separate his happiness from success, and once he accomplished what he needed to in New York I can see him coming back. Also I don't know how realistic it would be for Kinnetik to break into the New York market in a way Brian could be happy with. They are definitely together though.
