For once when someone says "It's not you; it's me." they actually mean it. The last few weeks have been extraordinarily bad, and as a result, I have been neglecting all of you. I am still reading for the most part, but I haven't been responding much. So if I owe you an email, didn't comment on a fic, or participate in a discussion, it's not because I'm not interested. And I really am sorry.

I am prone to hibernating when I get depressed. And while I have thought and responses in my head it seems like too much work to type them out. I've been a little better the last few days, but I don't expect that to last.

Since I need to wrap this up and one of the things I am incredibly frustrated with is the way we continue to allow our President to continue this war unchallenged by the politicians we eleceted to stop him, I am putting the lyrics to the Barenaked Ladies incredibly insightful song Fun & Games behind the cut. If only Democrats got it as well as Canadians do. If any wants me to upload, let me know.

We sent in the army
They sounded alarms
We saw it coming from a mile away
We kept it off radar
'Cause we had to say our
Intentions were to save the day

Why did you fail to see?
It was all for a laugh
They were shocked and they were awed and they were blown in half
Fun and Games
We were just pulling legs
We knew this barrel of fun would be a powder keg

We kept it all long range
And made a regime change
You'd have thought it would have been a gas
And when it got ugly
We sat around smugly
Because you bought our little joke en mass

Don't look at me that way

It was a gag
It was all for a laugh
We knew your sons and daughters would be blown in half
Fun and Games
We were just pulling legs
We knew this barrel of fun would be a powder keg

Put a smile on
We're the ones that you selected
Leave that dial on, son
Because we just got re-elected
In a while our bill of rights will be rejected, and all the blame will be deflected, the forests will be unprotected, the nations' poor will be neglected, creation myth is resurrected, the new salute is genuflected, the Gallup poll will be respected, a gallows pole will be erected
And all this will go undetected

And while you all slumbered
We sat and crunched numbers
Of all the casualties we could afford
There's no need to draft them
You could here us laugh then
The poor and black all need their room and board

Did I say that out loud?
It was a gag
It was all for a laugh
And now our very nation has been blown in half
Fun and Games
We were just pulling legs
We knew this barrel of fun would be a powder keg

Four things.

1. I went to the Erasure concert in Orlando and never told you! I had a blast. I abandoned my seat in the balcony and stood in the front with my belly against the rail. The place was filled with Brits because, hello, tourists, Universal. So, it was the perfect audience for the event.

Drama was the third song and I cried. Tears running down my face it made me so happy to hear it live. Thank you!

2. Everytime a Barenaked Ladies song comes on my car XM (it shows me the artist on the digital readout), I think of you. ♥

3. Margaret wrote to tell me about the latest MST challenge - daisy, wood, sapphire. I like these three words and want to do a drabble. Do one with me. :)

4. Viggio is going to be doing full frontal on the big screen!!

This is the best comment ever. Seriously, thank you so much for this.
1. I am so glad you had a wonderful time at the Erasure concert. Drama is so amazing live. If I didn't have children I swear I would stalking them everytime they tour.

2. This made me smile. Thank you.

3. A drabble for you:
They were gathered around the pool, the water a deep sapphire in the evening light, when J.R. approached Justin a handful of daisies clutched in her fist.

“Will you marry me?”

Before Justin could answer, Brian pulled him closer and told J. R. seriously, “Sorry, sweetheart he’s already taken.”

J.R. shrugged and took her flowers to Blake while Emmett yelled, “Quick, somebody knock on wood.”

“Emmett, that’s for preventing bad luck not Brian’s. . .”

Ted’s explanation was interrupted when Debbie shouted, “Jesus Brian, he didn’t mean that wood. Keep it in Justin’s pants until the kids go to bed.”

4. Viggo owns me! The movie probably won't show near me, but I'm already excited about Pay Per View and then DVD.

Thank you for my drabble! ♥ I loved it! This made me melt:

Before Justin could answer, Brian pulled him closer and told J. R. seriously, “Sorry, sweetheart he’s already taken.”

You need to send it to Margaret for the anniversary challenge.

I saw the movie last night! Viggo was phenomenal in the role - he played the Russian mob driver with incredible coolness and control. So fucking sexy.
