Challenge #76: And the Ending Is . . . “which was perfectly true.”
Confessions

“Justin, does your dad hate you because you’re gay?”

Justin looked at Gus sharply, wondering where this was coming from. “My dad hates me because I’m not the man he wanted me to be. Being gay is part of that. Why?”

“I need to tell Dad something, and I’m not sure what he’ll say,” Gus bit his thumbnail, looking so much younger than fifteen.

“He knows you’re straight, Gus,” Justin said gently.

“Really?” Gus sounded surprised and relieved.

“Brian just wants you to be happy. We both do,” Justin reassured him. “He could never hate you,” which was perfectly true.

Challenge #77: Shower, etc.
Alone at Last

Lindsay slipped into the shower behind her wife, wrapping her arms around her waist and nuzzling her neck. Mel’s hair was short again, and Lindsay loved how soft her skin felt under her lips and tongue.

Melanie moaned when Lindsay slid her hands up to cup her breasts before trailing one slowly down her body. She began stroking Mel’s clit then rubbed it with her thumb while pressing her fingers inside, holding tight when Melanie arched and trembled in her arms.

Turning, Melanie pressed Lindsay against the wall, kissing her deeply. “We should send the kids to Pittsburgh more often.”

Challenge #78: Summer Fun
Summers Past

“I miss summer.”

“Daph, it’s August and over ninety degrees. It can’t get much more summer than this.”

“Don’t forget the humidity. You should see my hair. I mean I miss summer when we were kids and had three months off. Remember how awesome that was. No school, nothing to do but swim and hang out. We used to stay at each other’s houses for weeks at a time, and no one cared. We could stay up late watching scary movies and sleep till noon. It was great,” Daphne finished wistfully.

Justin sighed into the phone. “I miss you too.”

Challenge #79: Rain
Delays

The storm continued to rage outside, a deadly combination of freezing rain, high winds, thunder and lightening. Much of the East Coast was paralyzed, leaving emergency crews scrambling to keep up and angry travelers stranded at airports and bus stations.

Brian could have been among them, but instead he was sprawled out in Justin’s bed getting his dick sucked.

“Too bad about your flight,” Justin smiled at Brian from between his legs.

“Yeah, I’m devastated,” Brian replied, reaching down and guiding Justin’s mouth back to his dick. “I’ll just have to console myself by fucking your ass another twenty times.”

Challenge #80: Vermont
Making Do

“Deb, I’m making pancakes. Where’s the syrup?” Justin yelled from the kitchen.

“Apple cinnamon and banana walnut,” Vic said with a smile from the table. “Brian must have snuck in last night. A night of fucking always makes him hungry. He even made coffee.”

“Right here,” Debbie pulled the syrup from the cupboard and smacked Vic on the shoulder.

Justin wrinkled his nose, “Not that kind. The real stuff from Vermont.”

“Sorry, Sunshine the best you get here is Mrs. Butterworth’s straight from the grocery store.”

“I guess that will do,” Justin sighed dramatically. “At least you had real vanilla.”

Challenge #81: Condoms
Facing Reality

Jennifer opened her purse the morning after Justin’s art show and found it still full of condoms.

“Give him what he needs,” Debbie had said. But Jennifer didn’t know if she could.

How could this be what he needs? Permission to have sex with boys. No, not other boys, she corrected herself, with men, like Brian.

She let the condoms slide through her fingers and closed her eyes. Condoms, not for preventing pregnancy, but to protect him from diseases. Diseases that could kill him. This wasn’t the life she wanted for her little boy. But it wasn’t up to her.

Challenge #82: First
Falling Hard

The first time Ted fell off the wagon, it started with a glass of champagne. Someone handed it to him, and he drank it without thinking. When nothing horrible happened, he had another, then another. Brian left the client’s party after only a token appearance so there was no one to stop him from ordering a gin and tonic from the open bar.

Blake found him in an alley three hours later trying to trade his watch for some crystal. He sobered Ted up, held him while he cried, and took him to a meeting.

There wasn’t a second time.

Challenge #83: Toppy!Justin
Reinforcements

The first time Justin fucked Brian in New York, his bed broke. The ancient legs gave out, and it dropped to the floor after a particularly powerful thrust.

Justin was trying to decide whether to laugh or cry when Brian pushed his hips back and growled, “Don’t you dare fucking stop now.”

His new bed was twice the size of the old one which meant he had about a foot of free space in his bedroom. But it was also twice as strong, and two days spent christening it in every possible position convinced him it was worth the inconvenience.

Challenge #84: Babylon
Moving Forward

“You’re selling Babylon?” Justin couldn’t believe it.

“I sign the papers next week,” Brian confirmed.

“But you love Babylon.”

“Justin, how often am I even there anymore?”

“That’s not the point.”

“The new owners have a club in Cleveland. I checked it out, and I know I’m leaving it in good hands. With the money I’m making from the sale and your last commission, we can afford a down payment on a decent apartment.”

Justin’s breath caught, “Are you sure?”

“I’ve been sure. As much as I’m in New York now, we need a bigger place.”

“I’ll start looking tomorrow.”

Challenge #85: Drunk, Horny, or High
Unexpected Question

“Brian asked you to marry him!” Daphne squealed loudly.

“That’s what I said,” Justin held the phone away from his ear.

“Was he drunk?”

“No.”

“High?”

“No.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’m sure. I think I’m starting to get offended,” Justin laughed.

“Shut up. So when’s the wedding?”

“I said no,” Justin sighed.

“WHAT?! You told Brian Kinney, the love of your life, no?”

“He was just scared. He didn’t mean it.”

“Justin,” Daphne’s voice softened. “Aren’t you the one who always told me Brian never said anything he didn’t mean?”

“I wish I still believed that,” Justin answered sadly.

Challenge #86: Mornings
New Parents

The sound of banging woke Ben up. He realized Michael wasn’t in the bed and went looking for him. He found him in the kitchen hammering one of the cupboards. “It’s three in the morning. What are you doing?”

“Ben, good! You can help. JR will be here in a few hours, and we forgot to baby proof the house. Luckily the Big-Q had everything we need. Once we get the cabinet locks on, we have to put the gates up.”

“Michael,” Ben took the hammer from his husband’s hand and kissed him. “Relax, JR is only two weeks old.”

Challenge #87: Masturbation
When You Dream

Justin woke up hard. He stretched and began stroking himself slowly, letting his mind wander. He thought of long, hot showers, Brian fucking him against the glass. He thought of getting his dick sucked at Babylon while Brian finger fucked him from behind and watched. He thought about waking up with Brian’s tongue deep in his ass, and he came, hard.

“What were you thinking about lover?” Ethan whispered in his ear. “The way I make slow, passionate love to you?”

Justin headed to the bathroom without a word, trying not to feel guilty about just who he fantasized about.

Challenge #88: Super Heroes
Aging Gracefully

“If you’re thinking about jumping, don’t,” Justin joined Brian on the balcony, hugging him from behind. “Turning forty isn’t the end of the world, and seeing you plunge to your death would really traumatize Gus.”

“I wouldn’t fall. I’m a fucking superhero; I can fly.”

Justin rolled his eyes and tried to pull Brian back to his party. “No, Rage is a superhero. You are subject to the laws of gravity and the pain of broken bones.”

“Happy Birthday to me,” Brian mocked.

“Stop whining and go cut the cake. Once everyone leaves, you can demonstrate your true super powers.”

Challenge #89: Coffee
Last Minute Jitters

They shut the car off while they waited in the long line at the Canadian border. The kids were asleep, and for once, it was blessedly quiet. Melanie took a sip of her coffee, and made a face, setting it back down when she discovered it was cold.

“Oh my God, Lindsay, what if they don’t have coffee in Canada?”

“Why wouldn’t they?”

“They’re practically British. What if they only have tea?”

“Melanie, it’s going to be okay. We’re doing the right thing,” Lindsay reassured her wife. “But if they don’t have coffee, I promise we’ll go back to Pittsburgh.”

Challenge #90: Justin
Empty Place

“How was Babylon, boys?” Debbie asked as she poured coffee.

Ted and Blake shrugged. Emmett finally answered, “It was all right, but it’s not the same.” He paused, checking to make sure Brian wasn’t back from his blowjob. “Without Justin.”

“I never realized how much he stopped by Kinnetik until he was gone,” Ted added.

“I know how you boys feel. Every time that bell rings, I look up hoping it’s him.” Debbie sniffed.

“It must be hell on Brian,” Emmett mused.

“Don’t say anything, but he’d already booked flights for the next four weekends.” Ted whispered, making them smile.
