QAF FIC: Flying on a Star

Even though I was struggling with my first fic for the QAF Gift Exchange, I agreed to do a pinch hit. I am glad I did because I've been trying for years to write this fic. I could never decide if it should be a drabble series or not. It's also the 2nd time I've written a fic based on a dream I had about Brian and Justin. The 1st took me years to write as well.

QAF FIC: One Need in the Night

Sentimental Repost: QAF FIC Picture Perfect (Brian/Justin)

I was looking at a calendar and realized this year's Valentine's Day is Valentine's Day 2014. A few years ago, I wrote a fic for an Anti-Valentine's Day challenge about how Brian and Justin would be celebrating this day so it seemed appropriate to repost. While looking for it, I discovered that fic I wrote "a few years ago" was written in 2008. Where has the time gone?

QAF Drabbles Theme RImming vs Blowjobs

Over the last few weeks,

qaf_drabbles had a special challenge theme of Rimming vs Blowjobs. I may have found this mildly inspiring and written 24 drabbles. I am trying to stay in the habit of writing drabbles on a regular basis. We'll see how long I can last. With out a doubt the hardest thing about drabbles is coming up with at title for all of them. Sometimes that takes me longer than writing the drabble does.

Cuddle Day 2012 Ficlet

Seriously, I hope ALL of you sign up! I love this exchange so much because it really has something for everyone. Since it is open to both fic and graphics, there are lots of ways to participate and so many possibilities for requests. I have been amazed by the lovely gifts I've received, and had so much fun fulfilling my own requests.

I also think it is a great opportunity to request that fic or graphic you've always wanted, but wasn't sure anyone would create. And it allows us to step out of our comfort zone as artists if we choose to. I've written Ted/Blake, Brian preseries, and a PWP none of which I would have thought of on my own, but I am very fond of all three of those stories. Participating in the gift exchange has changed the way I write and think about writing.

Lot of QAF Drabbles

I have a lot of drabbles to post here, but first I wanted to apologize. I've been a little stressed out lately which means I neglect a lot things. I have been very bad about responding to comments, and I feel terrible about it. Please know I am thrilled every time I get a comment from one of you, and I never want you to think I don't appreciate them. I will tryo to do better about responding promptly.

Title: Good Genes

“We did it! I’m pregnant!”

Brian held the phone away from his ear. Lindsay hadn’t even given him a chance to say hello. He listened to her babble about pregnancy tests and morning sickness and due dates all the while resisting the urge to shout “No.”

He wanted to take it back, but it was too late. Brian knew he was never meant to be a father even if it was in name only, but now he was stuck.

When Lindsay finally paused for breath, he responded the only way he could. “I told Melanie I was the better man.”
